​B.Michael Peterson (Producer, Playwright, Director) is a NYC-based playwright and director, and a freelance company manager.

He is the playwright of Truth or Dare Massacre", “Can't Tear Me Down: Revenge of the Pink Posse”, "Truce, or The Suicide Letter", “The Curse of Bermuda Triangle”, "Inside the Kettle Tribe", "Campfire Bondage", "Unrequited Love Released" and his short play "Platonic Romance Dance" premiered off-Broadway for the 2026 Winter One-Act Festival at Chain Theatre. In 2014, he presented his play “Truce, or The Suicide Letter” at The Pocket Theater (Seattle) for their inaugural Emerging Playwrights Festival.

His directing credits includes “Kiss of the Spider Woman” by Manuel Puig (Trial by Fire TheatreWorks/Oregon), “His Mother Calls Him Petey” by John C. Davenport (Seattle Playwrights Collective/Seattle), “BREAK” by J.Stephen Brantley (Over the Rainbow Performance Lab/Portland), and “The Greyhound” by Scot Augustson (Annex Theater Company/Seattle).

He produced a staged reading of “Sochi 2004” by Tess Berry-Hart (Eclectic Theater Company/LA) in 2014. Additionally, he has produced several alternative drag performance shows (2014 to 2023) plus staged readings of his own writings.

Peterson ran and operated his own talent management company, Peterson Artists, from 2025 to 2026, where his roster included Boy Radio (2026 Rocky Horror Show Broadway Revival, Joe's Pub), Michael Vaccaro, Jameson Cherilus, and Urban Focus Studios. He closed his business in May 2026.

Peterson was a board member of Q: A Queer Resource for Social Change (2005-06), co-founder of Student Productions Association at Lane Community College (2002), and Thesian Troupe #1440 President (2001). He was awarded the "best student director" award at Willamette High School in 2001.

Peterson studied theater, and theater management at Lane Community College and University of Oregon under the mentorships of Patrick Torelle, Janet Rose, Richard Barton, Joe Zingo and Craig Willis.
